What this service is

You can text a question to +1 747 325 5364 by text message (SMS). An AI answers in my voice, drawing only on my published writing. I don't personally read or answer the messages. The service only replies to messages you send; it never starts a conversation and never sends marketing.

What I collect

Your phone number, so a reply can be sent back to you.
Your messages and the replies, so the AI can follow a short conversation.

I don't ask for your name, email, location or anything else, and I don't use cookies or tracking for this service.

How long it is kept

Conversation: your number and your last four exchanges are stored so follow-up questions make sense. They are deleted automatically 24 hours after your last message.
Consent: when you reply YES to the welcome message (or START after opting out), your number and the time you agreed are stored as a record of your consent. It is kept until you reply STOP, which deletes it.
Daily limit: a count of how many messages your number sent today (up to 20 a day), which expires automatically.
Technical logs: kept for 14 days to keep the service running. They record only a scrambled (hashed) form of your number, never your actual number or the text of your messages.

Who processes it

Two service providers handle your messages only to run this service:

Twilio, which delivers text messages to and from your phone.
Amazon Web Services, which hosts the service and runs the AI that writes the reply.

Sharing

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. I don't sell, rent or share your phone number or messages with anyone, except the two providers above, which process them only to run this service.

Messaging details

Message frequency: one reply for each message you send. You will never receive messages you didn't ask for.
Message and data rates may apply.
To stop: reply STOP at any time. You'll get one confirmation and no further messages.

Your choices

You can stop at any time by replying STOP. To ask about or delete anything stored about your number sooner than the automatic deletion, email blog@kuppurao.com.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
